“The Gulch”
Definition – A narrow and steep-sided ravine marking the course of a fast stream.
“The Gulch” is the former name of our enchanted forest destination. The property name and meaning come from the deep creek and waterfall that run below the suspension bridge in the middle of the property, flowing in the wet season. Our romantic and private property hosts lush, tropical gardens, handmade recycled timber structures, a 14-meter pool, rustic shed, love swing, outdoor fire area and many intriguing rainforest enshrined nooks, filled with enchantment.
Since getting married ourselves, we have been on the search for a property where we could help make other people’s dream weddings as magical as our own. When we found ‘The Gulch’, in 2020, we knew instantly that this was the place to make that magic possible.
Located amongst the Mount Lucas National Park and just 15 minutes from the townships of the Whitsundays, this enchanted forest is divided by a great gulch and is bound back together by the 20+ meter rainforest suspension bridge.
With the many ceremony locations to be captivated by on this property, your special occasion is bound to be an enchanting and enrapturing one.
